A Bit of Me!

Over at Pen Pals the first challenge is to journal about your favorite age. Well, mine is RIGHT now! Here is a little something I put together using Smilebox.

Deanne's Blogoversary Celebration # 2 was to create three cards using the one sketch. Here are my entries: one is for my friend Natasha's birthday- I am taking this with me to Alberta to give to her, secondly is a Halloween card- I love this one, and third is a Christmas card- the scanning is terrible and it looks a bit weird, but oh well! It's cute in real life, so that's all that matters...lol.

Wow! I Am A Scrap Addict!

Deanne, over at Am I A Scrap Addict??, was having a DT call. I was going to enter, then I wasn't, and then I said "well, what can be the harm if I don't make it!?!" So I entered, and I AM NOW A PROUD DT MEMBER!! Woot woot! Can you say excited?? You must go over and check out the other members! I can't wait to get started. Thanks so much Deanne for the chance. I'm adding my kewl new blinkie now!!

I'm A Sister!

I cannot tell you how great I felt last week when I got the e-mail to be the Sister of the Week over at Sisterhood of Scrap. They were the first blog I ever started to read, I checked it on a daily basis, and only recently I've been participating over there. I always wondered if I would get a chance to be a sister, and I have. You should go and check me out this week! And also leave some love over at the blog as these ladies are amazing.

The challenge over there this week is to use brown/pastel color (I chose lilac). This is another LO of my uncle for my Dads scrapbook that I am doing for him. Hope you enjoy!

Oh, and thanks to the ladies over at Sisterhood of Scrap for having me. You really made my week!

New Creations and Blog Candies

Wow! I've been so busy that the layouts and cards I've completed for challenges that I missed the deadlines and forgot to post them. Oh well! I enjoyed doing this and I figured I would share them with you anyways.

This first LO was designed using the sketch over at Unpubbed. This is another of the pictures of my uncle who recently passed away with cancer. You will see a lot of layouts over the next while of him, as I am doing these to eventually give to my Dad (his brother!).



This second layout is of my friend Holly and I at her bachelorette party. In the frame I have journalling about the night. The title- Special Time- is covered in microbeads, this took forever to do and I still get these beads between my toes every time I sit at my table. The beads I done for the Bead Challenge over at Scrap Your Crap (but I forgot to enter...heehee). And I used the sketch over at 52 Sketches...52 Weeks as the inspiration (which I also missed the deadline for..lol). I had all of these done last week but went home to my hometown for a few days and forgot to upload them :)

More time!

I wish there was more time in a day. I have so much to share on my blog- layouts, cards, blog candies, DT spot!, Sister of the week, etc.

However....

...I am studying for my last final exams of my education degree. Will be back to catching up with the blogging world tomorrow hopefully!!
