Holiday Love

I love this card!!!! I saw the idea over on Christmas Cards All Year Round (which I'm also entering this card for their challenge this month!). I just traced and cut a whole bunch of hearts, then I put fun flock over all of the edges so it looked like it snowed on the Christmas tree...heehee! LOVEEEEEEEEEE ITTTTTTTTT!! I used the fabulous sketch from A-Scrap Addict's Sketches for this card. Deanne has a competition going on, you should pop over and see what it is.

P.S. Don't forget about my blog candy!!!

Be Jolly

And here goes some more Valentine's colors on my Christmas cards...lol. I like this card, it's simple, but quite cute. Maybe this year I will actually give out my cards, UNLIKE LAST YEAR!! And these little ones that I've made will fit into a regular envelope, so that's a bonus. This is another entry for Christmas Cards All Year Round and I also used another sketch from Deanne's fabby blog- A Scrap Addict's Sketches.

A Jolly Holiday

This card was pretty easy to make. I think everything on this card came from a Christmas pack I bought at Michael's last year. I used the sketch over at A-Scrap Addict's Sketches. I just cut strips of paper in pink and reds and whites and then put them together and ta-da...this is what we have. This is another entry for Christmas Cards All Year Round since it uses Valentines colors...lol.

Noel

And yes! Another Christmas card...lol. Another entry for Christmas Cards All Year Round. This is a super sparkly card. The Noel letters were just blank chipboard. I wanted it to be sparkly so out came the Stickles!! Love those things. It took A LOT but I love the way they sparkle. I once again used a sketch by Deanne over at A Scrap Addict's Sketch blog.

Joy

This is the first of my Christmas cards for this year! Yes! Christmas cards...lol. This is my entry for the Christmas Cards All Year Round blog which was to use Valentine's day colors and hearts! Well this one has red and a heart. I'm not a huge fan of it...it's missing somethin' I think! I used the sketch over at A-Scrap Addict's Sketches blog. See the sketch below. Deanne is having a blog contest, go over and check it out to see what it is :)

CARS Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made for my Godson's 2nd birthday. He (well, his grandmother) sent me an invitation to his party so I used a part of the image from it to do this card.

The sketch used for this is from the Sisterhood of Scrap's Sketch Saturday for today! Go on over and check it out.

Final Installment of V-Day Cards!

This is my momma's Valentine's Day card that I sent her. It's pretty basic but cute-- just like my mom...LOL!!

The sketch for this card came from Beary Box Card Sketch # 12 from last week. It was a great one, you should go and check out the DT creations.

And this was one I just whipped up really fast for my boyfriend--terrible, his took the least thought and effort. I always wanna do something good for him so I leave his til the last and then it always sucks. Ohhhhh welllll!! This is also our first Valentine's Day apart in 5 years. Sad! :(
How was your Valentine's Day!?!

Double Shot At Love :p

Well these "lovely" cards are for my godson and my boyfriend's nephew. Since they're both boys I figured I'd throw in some purple and red rather then all pink...lol. Although they're only 2 so I'm sure they won't care what color it is--or even if they get a card...lol.
The sketch for this card is #38 from Creative Scrappers and the sketch is by Allison Cope.
So are you in the love spirit yet!?!

I Love You

This is my valentine's day card for my dad and brother. Pretty simple and basic as my cards always are, but I'm sure my dad will love it.

I used the sketch #37 from Creative Scrappers for this card. The sketch is by Deanne and it's a fabby and simple one.

Hugs and Kisses!

Happy Boy!

Another nephew LO!! He's too sweet not to scrap!!
This LO I am using for two challenge. I used the sketch for this week from Creative Scrappers (hopefully I remember to upload this because I usually forget!) and I also used the quote from Sisterhood of Scrap's challenge for last week. The quote was: "Happiness is a journey, not a destination; happiness is to be found along the way not at the end of the road, for then the journey is over and it's too late. The time for happiness is today not tomorrow. --Paul H. Dunn"

Altered Journal

Here is a notebook I altered for school. My students and I (I only have 4 students!!) are starting a 1000 journal entries project. We read about this guy who started a 1000 journals project a while back and sent 1000 journals out into the world and everytime one person wrote in one they had to mail it to someone else to write in. Once the journal was full it was to be mailed back to the guy who sent them out. The journals are amazing-- if you haven't heard of this project before you really should check it out-- www.1000journals.com
So for our project at school we are aiming for 1000 entries, I figured I would pitch in so that it would on average be 200 entries by the end of the school year. And the catch is that for every one entry we (myself and my four students) make we are to give the journal to someone else to write the next entry, then it comes back to us again.
These journals were just scribblers from the supply room at the school, they were quite ugly. Getting the kids motivated is hard sometimes, some just drew on their journals or TAPED paper on the cover, etc. But when they saw my journal they actually took it serious and saw that it was meant to be fun and creative.
If you leave me a comment I am going to use them for one of my journal entries for my journal! I'll just print it off and glue it in the journal for the kids to see!!
Cheerio!
