Finally Some Layouts!

"Daddy's Girl"- My Uncle Wade and his daughter, Christa back in 1989!
Based on Sketch # 16 over at Creative Scrappers and also for the Sisterhood of Scrap challenge this week which was to use Fall colors!

"The Staff"- My uncle who was a teacher and the other staff members.
This LO used the sketch from Unpubbed and I am also using it for the Pen Pals challenge which is to journal about your HOPES. My hopes (which is the journalling in this LO) is about being an inspiration to my students and reaching my goals, which he always pushed me to do.
Ugh! I just cannot get into the crafty mood. It's taking me forever to complete my LO's, and it's driving me nuts. But I think I finally figured out why. I keep all of my things in containers in my room and our spare (guest?) room. Whenever I want to create something I have to carry all of my containers to my kitchen table, unpack them and then when I'm finished I have to pack them all up and put them all away again. I NEED A CRAFTING ROOM. So that when I don't have the time to finish something I can just leave it and come back to it another time. I just get so frustrated. I cannot wait to move and get a bigger place so I can have a crafting room (actually an office too, because my teaching books are taking over our bedroom). Ohhhh wellllll...
Hope you had a great weekend!! :)

Great layouts, I particularly love the layout of the first one, with the title going round the circle.
I empathise with you about the scrap space. Here in Florida, I am all set up in the garage, plenty of room, but even with fans, soooo hot. At home in the UK, we downsized, and the only space I have is the kitchen table, so like you I have to drag stuff out, put it away/drag it out/............When I think of all the huge houses we have lived in, in the past, rooms I didn't know what to do with, and I had never heard of paper crafting.......hey ho! I hope you get a room all to yourself soon.

Beautiful layouts, and the top one definitely looks like it is the same colors as my canned goodies. :) Beautiful fall colors, and such a sweet memory of your uncle and cousin. Thanks for playing along! :) Kelly
